Columnist Steve Simmons laments that the Blue Jays' radio broadcast continues to be a shadow of its former self, with Ben Wagner going solo and not accompanying the team on its away games. 

"...because Rogers is unwilling to hire a colour man — and there is no shortage of candidates out there — Wagner is left in the booth by himself.

But he’s only doing home games live. 

When the Jays are on the road, he’ll be in a Toronto studio, 1940s style without the teletype machine, calling the game off a television monitor. One voice. All by himself."
