Alex Pierson has been doing her "On Point" show for several years on AM 640 at 6:30 PM weeknights, but has been constantly plagued by being interrupted for an hour every Monday and Wednesday at 7 for the paid time Employment Law Show, pretty much killing her program's momentum.

And then, earlier this month on Toronto Mike, new programmer Amanda Cupido confirmed they were remedying that situation, by starting the shill show at 6:30 and upping Pierson's program to 7 PM, starting March 21st. That day has come and sure enough, the 640 sked reveals the change is here. 

But unfortunately, Alex won't be there. She's off, after subbing for Oakley on afternoons last week. (Arlene Bynon is in on that shift for the next five days.)

All of which means that, ironically, on the day her show finally sheds its irritating interruption, she won't even be part of it. Instead, Angela Kokott will host on Monday night. Who's she? A former co-anchor of Global Calgary's morning show. Now she describes herself as a self-employed communications specialist and she gets first crack at the hopefully new and improved Toronto evening show.
