I just stumbled across his byline..... a writer for Canadian Press...Larry MacDougal...
Larry and I worked together a few (ahem) years back...
Do you know him from your work place ??
He should be very very near retirement by now...
And while I'm here any news from Bill Marshall ??
Will he join us ?? And how about Larry...he's a card too...
Thanks...

Hi unc!
I worked for Larry Mac when he was ND at CKSL -- a nicer man you'd never meet.
But the only Larry MacDougal I know of at CP is a photographer...I don't know him, as I believe he's based in Western Canada...
I dropped Bill a line a few weeks ago, along with a link to join us. He appeared interested in his reply but I have no idea if he ever followed through. He may be among us, lurking!

O.K. thank you Chris...
It would be nice if Bill Marshall could give us a sign or signal that he is indeed among us....spooky...
And slightly disappointed to hear that CP's Larry MacDougal may not be the same gentleman...
The Larry MacDougal that you and I worked with was a great guy...and a funny phuker too...
Maybo there is currently a Facebook page dedicated to the late King Perry...
You can see it by inserting the following into Google search...King Perry-tribute Facebook...
Although the site is dedicated to Kingsley...they do have a picture at the top of the main page of the C.K.S.L. staff (ball team) from about 1975... I don't see you in that photo but you may well be...
Will you take a look and put an i.d. for me on all these folks...maybe post that photo here if you can ...I can recognize about half of them...

Haha....yes, OC -- they certainly were. And that jam session was one of the very best days!

Thanks for the link, unc! 1975 was a year too early for me. I was in college doing some freelance sports work for John Hancock, but I didn't arrive full time until '76. I'll check out the photos and see if I can up with some names. (With my memory, sometimes it's a challenge to come up with my own...)
