More Bell Media cuts?
A whole slew of Bell Media on-air employees in Vancouver lost their jobs today, on both TV and radio. Notably, 6:00 TV co-anchor Scott Roberts.
As this seems to be an annual ritual at this time of year for the Bell Telephone Company’s media division, I can’t help but wonder what’s in store in Ontario soon.

Have to admit I was wondering if this is going to filter down to the rest of the country as well. We all recall what happened a year ago February during the big national Bell bloodbath. If I worked at Bell Media, I would not be sleeping easily tonight.
It's frankly amazing there's anyone left to cut and still keep the places running.

Specifically with the Vancouver operations, Baton and CTV spent so much time, money, and resources building up that station since 1997. It's quite sad to see the amount of "right sizing" CTV Vancouver has seen over the last few years.
