Will Bell Wait To Do Cutbacks After The Olympics?

Just noticed on Twitter that Bell is a sponsor of the Olympics.

Do we think they're media savvy (sneaky) enough to bide their time and carry out the tradition of yearly winter layoffs after all the gold, silver and bronze medals have been awarded?

Bell must love writing the cheques to CBC for the Olympic advertising and all of the CBC promo on TSN!  Bell usually has well produced and expensive ads during the Olympics but this crop is not that great. Unfortunately Bell Media is not that big a chunk of BCE's business (20%?) and seems to be where they make most of the cuts.  Wish they would unload some radio stations to someone else who is more interested in radio broadcasting.

I agree. Is it possible the reason they don't sell these off is they would have to compete with them?
