    BBC World Service

    It's been a long while since I've been able to listen to BBC with armchair quality reception and at a convenient hour of the day. But I have been for the past month here at our place in the Tampa Bay area.

    The BBC transmitter in Oman is pounding a signal in here every evening. Of course, we wouldn't want BBC tp know anyone is listening here, They'd shut it down.

    After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.

    One can quite easily download the excellent BBC Sounds app which gives you all of the BBC stations and a mass of archival stuff. Preferable to listening to the current  Canadian stuff.
