Just noticed what appears to be a new FM signal in Toronto on 101.7FM with decent coveage of Toronto and west GTA up to Burlington on a car radio. As per their website at
They are carrying religious programming mostly provided by EWTN radio and apparently had applied to operate on 106.3 FM back in 2000 but got denied by the CRTC. Based on their past compliance issues with the CRTC ( ), it seems they are operating with only IC certification for their VFU545 101.7 transmitter and no CRTC licence.

Maybe it's just my location, but I don't hear anything on either the Toronto or Hamilton frequencies.
Online!
CHIM Timmins had its licence pulled way back in 2012.....
But, in april 2021, a christian station was licenced to Christ Evangelistic Association Inc serving scarborough on 105.3. that's the best i can come up with.
That decision followed a call for comments/applications

Also, talk about possibly sowing confusion - you've got CHIN-FM (with an "N") at 100.7 and apparently CHIM-FM (with an "M") at 101.7. I suppose listeners would know the difference by the programming, but still, both of those in the same market are a bit too close for comfort.

Depending on where you are in Toronto, you just might pick up Buffalo's Catholic radio station.
