New York Times Buys The Athletic
Many excellent Canadian hockey journalists have written for The Athletic, including Jonas Siegel.
This is great news for sports fans, I think?... guess it depends on how we look at the changes and upheavals the NYT has gone through in the last few years.

It makes sense in a lot of ways. One of the most financially viable newspapers in the world buys the most viable sports journalism site in North America.
