One of my all time favourite trivia questions just bit the dust - name the only song to ever be #1 on Billboard in two separate years. It's The Twist by Chubby Checker, but he's no longer the king of that hill.
The new champ is a queen, instead, and as much as it pains me to say it, it's a Christmas tune. Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You hit #1 on Billboard this week, the third time it's happened since its release in 1994. It's been on and off the charts in various positions for years, but it hit the top spot in 2019, 2020 and now 2021.
As if that's not crazy enough, the #2 song this week is 63 years old! It's Brenda Lee's Rockin Around The Christmas Tree. Seems like CHFI et al is on to something.
It makes sense that an annual holiday tune would the first one to hit three times. It guarantees it will be played and replayed every year, making it a perennial candidate for another shot on the charts.
Not sure if any other song will ever break this record, but I'm still holding out hope for The Monster Mash!

As much as it pains me to say, it's not the worst possible Christmas song ever devised-by-committee.
Be this as it may, I posit that this duet might be better...

Or there's that porno version with her and the sheep. All I Want For Christmas Is Ewe.

Pre-Hot 100, Bing Crosby's White Christmas was #1 on three different occasions - 1942, 1945 and 1947.
