    Brian used to be my newsman in the early 70s at CHUM-FM.

    Sounds like CHUM was his first real radio job.  Not bad to start your career at the top.  He mentions  Dick Smyth every interview I have seen and heard him do regarding his retirement.  Liked his story about CKLW and going to school in Michigan from the podcast as well.
