CFRB's Jerry Agar has been going back and forth to the U.S. on-and-off for the past few months, primarily because he wanted to help a few of his kids who live there. Despite the sometimes-harsh restrictions that have come and gone at the crossings, he's been able to get there and back in time to do his show, which he hosts from his home in Etobicoke.
Until Monday.
Agar's COVID test was delayed and there was a mix-up at the border, and guards wouldn't let him cross back into Canada on the weekend. As a result, he had to wait overnight for the confusion to be resolved and he missed his show on Monday. Mark Towhey filled in for him, and had him on the air in the first segment to explain what happened, with Agar complaining about the red tape and lack of information from the border guards about the new rules.
He's expected to be back in the air chair on Tuesday.

it amazes me that some people insist on travelling during a pandemic.
