Detroit Station Salutes 50 Yrs. Of Rock With Interactive Online Site

It’s not often these days that a station hits 50 years with the same format. But WRIF in Detroit is not only marking that milestone, it’s celebrating it with an interactive online archive called The WRIF Rock Hall. It features a ton of different “rooms,” with clickable icons that lead to audio, video, photos, logos, and other memorabilia from years gone by.
 
It’s a nice feature (although to gain full access, you have to provide an email address.) As many here know, I often lament stations ignoring their histories, and that’s why I found this so intriguing. I’ve sampled a few of the pages below, although of course, you can’t get the interactivity from a .jpg. But the artwork is pretty cool.
