CJAI-FM - Amherst Island Community Radio's move to 101.3 FM

Amerherst Island Community FM radio station in Stella, Ontario near Kingston has moved from 92.1 MHz to its new frequency at 101.3 MHz on October 26, 2021 according to their Facebook page. I checked out their new signal at FM 101.3 Thursday evening which is heard in spots here in Westport, Ontario about an hour north of Kingston but I was also hearing WRMM "Warm 101.3" blasting in from Rochester, New York at times. This was CJAI-FM's third frequency change since the station originally signed on in 2006 first at 93.7 (2006-07) and previously at 92.1 (2007-21). I'm hoping that they won't have to face another frequency change in the future, but I wish CJAI-FM all the best of luck on their new frequency at 101.3 FM!

Re: CJAI-FM - Amherst Island Community Radio's move to 101.3 FM

It all depends on where you are, and how far away. If Warm only bleeds into the station's frequency in areas where the mentality is "Nobody there is going to go all the way out to Amerherst  to shop..."  then it's all good.
Closer to home is more the concern. Hopefully Warm isn't doing THAT much damage.

I'm guessing they thought things through with a signal test first...
