Well I had caught one of my farthest FM DX catches via tropo while I was on Spy Rock on Foley Mountain in Westport an hour north of Kingston, Ontario last night on September 19, 2021 heard during the 10:00 and 11:00 PM hour until I went home.

91.1 FM WFUM heard "?...Michigan Radio" Flint, MI in with CJRT-FM "Jazz 91" Toronto, ON.

106.7 FM WLLZ "Wheels 106.7" classic rock Detroit, MI on top of semi-local WBDR "The Border 106.7" Watertown, NY and also heard WKGS "KISS 106.7" CHR Rochester, NY coming in at times.

Also had London, Woodstock, Toronto, Barrie, Orillia, Peterborough, Orangeville, Owen Sound all booming in almost like local on FM last night and into this morning.

An interesting catch!

88.1 CHLK-FM "Lake 88.1" Perth, Ontario (Lanark County) 5,400 watt transmitter is located on Lanark Road 511, approximately 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) north of Dufferin Street (Highway 7) between Peterborough and Carleton Place and I'm located in Westport which is around 30 kilometers south of CHLK-FM's transmitter site. Turned on my radio this morning around 9:00 AM ET 9/20 and heard french language station CFRH-FM 88.1 Penetanguishe, ON completely burying CHLK-FM!

Usually CHLK-FM's signal is good but can receive interference from WSLZ 88.1 "NCPR" Cape Vincent, NY in spots.

A lot of the Toronto, Barrie, Orillia stations were all booming in even taking out some local and semi-local stations in Brockville, Kingston, Ottawa, northern New York state,  etc. I don't have time to list them all but it was sure a great night and morning for FM DX!

Hopefully we'll see more great FM tropo DX before the season ends!
