The WNBC Time Machine Lives On 1 More Time For The Labour Day Weekend

The old WNBC-AM "Time Machine" format is being resurrected for the Labour Day weekend on a site called hitoldies.net. The re-creation includes live jocks (including former WNBC P.D. Dan Taylor on various shifts and ex-FM108 jock Russ Horton on Saturday night from 9 PM-midnight), all the original PAM jingles, the reverb and of course, those classic oldies.

You can tune it in, find details and see the schedule here

I've been listening to some of it, and it really is a pretty terrific tribute to one of the best radio stations I've ever heard, especially if you were ever a fan of true classic Top 40. This was how it should have been done!

Wow. The processing, reverb and overall stereo sound quality of this feed is pretty amazing for a streaming feed. Very impressive. Even if you're not an oldies fan, this faux station re-creation sounds great.
