Guess this means they still haven't the foggiest about the future of the show.
Perhaps they should clean house and in hockey terminology, do a rebuild. Cause they've already done the tanking and jerking around the fans part.

Given that the relative nobody eventually got the gig, it's obvious that the celebrity guest hosts were never auditioning in the first place, but rather palate cleansers and publicity.

Tribute at the close of each Jeopardy episode:
"Dedicated to
ALEX TREBEK
Forever in our Hearts
Always our Inspiration"

I read today that the search for the next Dr. Who is getting underway. Guess Jodie Whittaker didn't make the grade.
Perhaps we should just stick with the "encore presentations" of both shows.
It's pretty clear Alex Trebek wasn't just the heart and soul of Jeopardy, he was the ship's rudder.

Jodie Whittaker actually decided to leave on her own. It's a big story in Britain as to who will take her place after this season, which also sees the showrunner taking his leave. Whatever happens in 2023, the program will have a very different look.

I've read a few versions of what went down, but I wasn't up to date with her wanting to leave, thanks RA.
Wonder if Mark Gatiss has anything in the works for the next few years.
