It's the oldest radio show in history and has been around almost as long as the medium itself. The Grand Ole Opry, a mainstay at WSM Nashville, is planning a special show for October 30th when it airs its 5,000th show. It's been on the air almost every week since 1925. That's incredible and given the state of the industry today, it's a record never likely to be broken.
