That's How It's Done

It was how baseball's play-by-play is done on the radio when ESPN'S Jon "Boog" Sciambi with analyst Chris Singleton called all the action of the 2021 All Star Game last night.  The broadcast team described everything that was happening on the field.  Every play, pitch count, fan and player reaction etc. was called, nothing was missed. There was no superfluous conversation by the analyst overriding the play.  Singleton knew when to keep quiet and allow Sciambi call the game. This gave the listener a true picture of what exactly was happening on the field.  This is a far cry from what Rogers has produced for their Jays' games using the pseudo radio team of Schulman, Martinez and Tabler.
