I voted NO, but that doesn't mean very much. I don't watch any other sport either.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

I voted no, but if the Toronto FC team is in the playoffs, or Canada is in an
international tournament I would watch. I am a sports fan, to a point.

I think there should be a name change for the Olympics. (and strictly the Olympics)
The correct name should be "World Football" to honour parts of the world that call Soccer Football.

I actually only caught the replays on-line but one thing I absolutely hate, even if it's in our favour, are shoot-outs. For that matter, I'm no fan of sudden death overtime, either. It's just a shame when an entire game, series, or medal, rests on such a precarious finish.
They should take a tip from baseball and just have as many extra innings, periods' or whatever as it takes to reach a conclusion. If someone scores, the opposition at least has a chance to tie, and the odds of someone scoring are probably higher simply because everyone is getting very tired. But the key is that they would have to play the entire period.

I don't like all soccer, but I like Woman's soccer because, unlike the Canadian Men, Canada has been kicking ass since 2000. Otherwise, I compare soccer to ice hockey. And soccer always loses because the rules are stupid when it comes down to deciding the win. I was pleased to understand that Australia, The USA and Canada call it Soccer, but only because we have other versions already called "Football".
