There is a reason... I'm 90% sure they are using an mp3 internet stream to feed tsn and 1010's HD.   They also are giving more bandwidth to their Pure Country HD 4, which seemed to be when the quality dropped.

There is ways they could fix this I'm sure, as 1010 and 1050 don't need stereo HD signals, which would free up bandwidth.  They also could also setup a higher quality feed for 1010/1050 to the HD transmitter.  It's the old saying crap in, crap out.

I've heard signals with 4 HD feeds and 99.9 has some of the worst sounding subchannels.. so I tend to feel it's how the audio is being fed.
