Here's something I'm betting few of us would have an issue with. The CRTC is soliciting opinions about whether Canada should have a three-digit anti-suicide and mental health hotline. It would be similar to 911 for fire, police and ambulance or 311, the city of Toronto's all-purpose line.
This seems like a no-brainer to me, except that such a line would need to be more local or provincial and there would be a cost attached to it. Ontario actually does have one already - 211, but it's not all that well publicized.
Not about broadcasting, per se, but I thought it was an interesting idea.

And that's the problem. It's been up and running for some time now but it's still not very well known.
