11 vintage ads with children we will never, ever see today

You might not quite believe these were real. But they were. A sample of one of them is pictured below. The rest are just as horrible. How did any of us survive our childhoods?

I don’t quite understand the issue with the Trix cereal ad. Trix is still marketed to kids today.

I love the comment someone made about 7 up.
"Great way to burp the baby..."
& now that I think of it, it surprises me that they didn't create that exact slogan while they were at it! lol

Maybe because they used the term "habit-forming" - maybe?

Love these RadioActive. Reminds me of the Stafford show conversations when Staff would marvel at how there used to be genuinely dangerous chemicals included in the toy chemistry sets for kids. And how kids were allowed to play with lawn darts and numerous other sketchy things. Good times.
