Podcast Radio launches in the UK, when will it arrive in Canada?

Podcast Radio you say? Not yet in Canada? Mmm...Pity!

Yes Podcast radio has arrived in the UK...24 hours of programming the best of the best podcasts and it seems to have legs, financial backing and some success so far too.

The question is, will this work in Canada? Who of the big broadcast companies might take a stab at doing something similar?

Here is more on the story...

The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...

It’s just a matter of time. It’s already a format on at least a couple of iHeart stations in the US, and Bell, Rogers, Corus and CBC all have podcast divisions. Campus stations have been using podcasts for a few years too. Canadaland is one example.
I don’t mind it. It sounds similar to public radio.
