    Supriya Dwivedi Lands New Gig - And It's Not In Radio

    Supriya Dwivedi has been mostly out of the spotlight since her abrupt and stunning departure from GNR640's Morning Show over online threats to her and her family.

    And she's likely to remain behind the scenes with her new gig - senior counsel with Enterprise Canada, a major public relations/consulting firm. In addition to her radio background, Dwivedi is also a lawyer, having graduated from a Montreal University.

    I believe I've heard her say in the past she had a law degree, but perhaps she never took the bar exam. I do remember her saying she had a choice of becoming a doctor or lawyer and she picked the latter. Either way, quite a smart lady.

    I was never fond of her radio work, but she certainly did not deserve to be hounded off the air in the way that she was. Hopefully, this new job will be a better fit. I wish her well.
