It’s the summer the music died thanks to the pandemic. But City TV is trying to change that by airing a series of concerts that-might-have-been if not for the virus. It will be called “Budweiser Stage At Home” and will air for at least 4 Saturday nights (and maybe more) at 8 PM, starting at the end of May.
The Black Crowes and Blue Rodeo are among the bands that will perform in either a studio or from their homes.

I'd love to see some of the old CHUM/CITY simulcast concerts from the 70s and 80s.
I suppose that's not likely to happen given the ownership situation but one never knows.

Stereovision. Video on TV and Audio on Toronto's Ultimate Rock Chum FM.

I love the fact that CFTO covered this story on its noon news, urging viewers to watch the concert series via streaming. To no one's surprise, not a single word that it was on - as we used to euphemistically say - another network.

I recorded, and eventually uploaded, the two Streetheart segments from one episode of "StereoVision"...

Speaking of Star Trek...
‘The Center Seat: 55 Years Of Star Trek’: History Channel Sets 8-Part Docuseries
No word if or when this will air in Canada, but I can't see it not being picked up by someone on this side of the border.

History (U.S.) features tend to show up on the Canadian History Channel anywhere from 1-6 weeks after their American premieres.
