    CityNews won the most prestigious award for a TV newscast in Canada on Saturday evening during The Radio Television Digital News Association awards.

    The honour is the result of a national competition between all Canadian broadcasters.

    Yep, let's all remember that we, the story tellers, are far more important than the story.  Welcome to corporate journalism.  A wise ND, rather politically incorrectly, once told these rookie ears about newscasting ego, saying that "the world just wants to see the baby, it doesn't give a damn about the labour pain."
