Netflix already has a production hub in Canada leasing over 200,000 square feet of studio space.  They have also spent $2.5 billion on productions in Canada since 2017, which is much more than they committed to the federal government.  And today they announced plans to open offices north of the border as well.  The CEO of Netflix called this a big first step allowing executives from the company to be closer to creators in Canada.  More from CTV...
