This Riveting Video Was Astounding
Did anybody else watch the Democrats presenting their case against Donald Trump on Wednesday? It doesn't really matter where you stand on the political front, the never-before-seen video of the Jan. 6th attack was absolutely riveting. I wasn't going to watch it, but turned it on for just a second and could not turn it off. Absolutely amazing stuff if you haven't seen it.
It put you right in the middle of the riot like nothing I've ever seen. Interestingly, while all the major U.S. networks and cable stations carried it, Fox News chose not to.

There was a video available yesterday, and released by the Impeachment Manager. Available to news and media outlets yesterday. The video is a compilation of the previously seen videos from over a month ago. However, the Impeachment Manager has laid the various videos out in a chronological timeline of the days events.
Is this the video you are referring to? Or is there another video?

And, in spite of all House and Senate members (and their staffs) being very seriously in jeopardy on January 6th, most GQP Senators will simply turn their gaze away and vote to acquit the worst-ever president of the USA, thus leaving open the door for His Madness to run again in 2024.

The news media is saying that much of what was on display on Wednesday was never released to the public before, including security camera video from inside the Capitol as the riot was happening. So while some of it was on TV before, a good half was screened for the first time during the presentation.
As noted, whether you loved Trump or hated him, it put you right in the middle of what was going on that fateful day. And some of it, including video of the woman protestor being shot as she tried to break through a door into the chamber, was chilling. I'm pretty sure there was a censored version of it out before. But this time, you literally see her get killed. Awful stuff, but like a terrible traffic accident, you just couldn't look away.
i have no doubt the entire presentation will eventually turn up online, if it already hasn't.

All of the impeachment managers today did an excellent job explaining the video clips and the time lines. The managers were all sincere and professional. It became apparent that what happened on January 6th could have been much worse. I really liked the way that most ended their presentation with the simple line.."and this is the truth.." The case and evidence against Trump is so damning now. The videos, audio and Trumps own comments before and during the riot make it impossible for the former presidents team to have much of a defense. Sadly for Mr. Trump, his many lies and attempts to undermine democracy and the division and fear he caused on January 6th will be his legacy.

And sadly for his country, his people and for the rest of the World, he has caused incalcuable damage along the way which will take years to unravel, if ever.
And yet so many knew before he even won the nomination. Fearmongerers was what we were called...and here we are 5 years later.
