Major U.S. Network Anchor Jumping From ABC To NBC
Tom Llamas has anchored ABC's World News Tonight Weekends for years. But Sunday was his final broadcast for the Alphabet network and he said goodbye to viewers.
He's going back where he came from - NBC. No word on who takes over the weekends from here on in. But it's rare that someone gives up a major anchor chair to go somewhere else. As the article explains, he was looking for more - and there was little chance of advancement.

By the way, ABC has confimed it will replace Llamas with two different anchors, one presumably working on Saturday, the other on Sunday, as is done at NBC. Whit Johnson and Linsey Davis will get the honours starting next week.
