Jack Miller did a daily TV-Radio column in the Spec for years before he moved to the Star. Who took his place in Hamilton? Jim Bawden. When Miller took the Science beat at the Star, who succeeded him again? JB.

Jim Bawden had an online blog I always enjoyed. His last entry, which truly now will be his last, was on Jan. 5th of this year. Active until the end.
Sadly, too few newspapers still have full time TV critics. They were amongst my favourite columns to read. Now most so-called "Entertainment sections" take about 3 1/2 minutes to peruse the entire thing. Which is essentially the time it takes to turn all the pages before it hits the recycling bin.

Had his blog bookmarked. Fewer entries over the last year due to his illness, but l always checked each day. He hadn't lost a step in terms of quality.
