Lucky Telus subscribers have another new channel to watch. Japan's public broadcaster NHK has a 24 hour English service which is now available to Telus subscribers for free in Western Canada.
Also as reported earlier, Corus isn't renewing the agreement with BBC for BBC Canada, the service ends Jan 1 2021. Interesting that BBC Canada had 2.4 million subscribers, so what constitutes a successful service? It's not like Corus promoted the channel that much. I wonder if expectations for some of these channels are a little unrealistic.
Anyway, lots of interesting tv and media news here from Broadcast Dialogue....

NHK has been offered for sometime, free on Roku. Much better options are France 24 and TRT out of Istanbul...also free on Roku.
