The market has too many stations, and 103.9 is at a further disadvantage being a stand-alone. Vista bailed, Castanet bailed. Paul's got radio in his blood and a ton of experience, but the deck is extremely stacked against him here.

Looks like the application for the recently closed CKOO radio in Kelowna BC has been approved. CKOO was the first and one of only a few radio stations in Canada to close so far because of the impact on advertising from COVID-19.
