I'm sorry to say I don't quite recall the work of Erin Paul, but she was a Gemini Award winning reporter for both CTV and CBC's Marketplace. She also covered all the Olympic Games from 2008 onwards. 

I noticed her obituary in the Toronto Star on Saturday, although for such a prominent career, it was fairly short on detail. There may be some who visit here who worked with her or knew of her, and our condolences go out to them and her family. The comments from her colleagues, including CFTO anchor Michelle Dube, make it clear she was much beloved by those who worked with her. 

It does not give the cause of death, but there can be little doubt it came way too soon. She was only 49.
