Is Gord Martineau Back With A Podcast Or A Weekly Radio Show? Or Both?

It's been a long time since Gord Martineau had a regular gig. After he parted ways almost unannounced from his longtime home at City TV and then disappeared from CFRB as a Roundtable regular, he's been mostly out of sight. But now he's back within earshot, on a new show airing on Jewel 88.5.

It has the mouthful title of "Aging Better In Uncertain Times," and is described on its website with this logline:

"A weekly look at health topics that matter with the experts who can help translate science back into English."

It appears this was meant as a podcast, but the website only has a promo, dated October 19th and no other episodes listed. For now, it airs on Jewel 88.5, right before the Rogers Ashby Oldies show on Sunday morning. It does not appear to be on the other Jewels around Ontario, Quebec or Nova Scotia. At least not yet. It's uncertain whether they've abandoned the podcast idea for CKDX or if that's still to come.

OK, so maybe not so original, but it's good to see Martineau back behind a mic.

Doctor Fabio Varlese's executive-focused private clinic in Yorkville looks like a pricey, dressed up Chiropractic and Homeopathic centre, so he won't be trying to sell its services to audiences in those markets

If you have ever wondered how many buttons middle aged and old men have to undo to appear mildly creepy, it's exactly that many.
