New Podcast Acts As "Audition Tape" For Out Of Work Radio People

It's called "Mornings Across America" and its stated goal is as follows:

"The guests do their thing without having to worry about hitting a spot set on time or getting that 8th song in before the top of the hour before another commercial break.

"If you are or know a radio personality who is currently out of a gig, we’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to show the industry what you can do!

If you’re working on something new or want to experiment with something, this is the place to do it."

Despite the title, there's a Canadian angle - the first "guests" were Terry DiMonte and Ted Bird, who were huge stars in Montreal for years. Some will remember Bird as one of the news guys from the old CFTR in its Top 40 rock days.

At a time when many talented radio people are out of work, it's a chance to showcase what they can do. Whether it will actually result in anyone getting a new radio job or not is another matter. Here's where you can apply
