Newstalk 1010 had Our Lady Peace drummer Jeremy Taggert on the afternoon show just after 6:30pm the day the news broke about Eddie, because OLP toured with Van Hager in the 90's, and J.T. referred to VH as a "glam metal" band which I found odd, I always thought and still think of them as just a kick ass take no prisoners rock band.
Van Halen was one of the few bands I never got sick of playing or hearing during my radio days, and will still crank up the volume when they come on Q or Boom.
