The Feds have made $50 Million available for the film and TV industry
This is welcome news for the film production biz in Canada, they got much needed funding from the Feds. To the tune of $50 million. It is not insured, so if there is an outbreak and production gets halted...then that is on the production companies to manage.
This is a bit of a stop gap measure too as the industry is in need of more funding to get back on track.
I would imagine insurance costs will be steep.
