It turns out this is the 5,000th topic posted on SOWNY since Iain Grant brought the board back to life on May, 28, 2015. (You can keep count on the home page.) All of that success is owed to the posters and readers of this board and I want to thank them all. (Well, except for the very few who’ve been banned!) Here’s to 5,000 more and I appreciate all your contributions in keeping this place a hopefully worthwhile one to visit on the web.

When Mark Simone was on WABC and a listener would answer a trivia question and ask him that, he would always reply, "You win a case of Satisfaction!"
I don't think he meant the Rolling Stones hit...

The best prize would of course be a big box of 45 RPM copies of the Residents' 'Satisfaction' cover. Yellow vinyl or course.
