Gee, if this had happened in Buffalo, we would have had lots of posts on this and talked about the flip for months!! Sounds like a good move. Religion is mostly talk suited well for AM. Hope it works for them.

Arise seems very happy with the idea.

This article isn't terribly informative, but hey, at least a newspaper made mention of radio. That's becoming increasingly rare these days.
From the Brantford Expositor:
Country Radio Station Set To Launch

I found the web site for the new FM:
Would have been nice if they had of put a re-direct from the old 1380 site

The new country Brantford station sounds good. Hot Country 93.9 is very modern and upbeat. Hope it works for them. They have been promoting the station flip on Jewel 92.1.

On Jewel 92.1 HD you can find both stations on HD2 & HD3

Why wouldn't they be?... It's all Evanov. Evanov has owned Arise and the other names it has been under for a while. This is basically a internal company flip. Religion being mostly brokered programming, will make good money on AM vs a music station in 2020. I think it's a smart move to address a major issue. Evanov also got a huge power bump for 93.9...
