If I didn't know this was a serious story, I'm not sure I'd believe it. The report says the BBC is planning to completely eliminate the terms "television" and "radio" in an attempt to appeal to a younger demographic.
The Beeb's TV service (oops, sorry, no longer allowed!) could soon be called BBC Screen, while its numerous radio outlets (darn, there's that wrong word again!) will transform to BBC Audio.
I don't doubt that a younger demo is more attuned to streaming but really, eliminating what the two media are called? That seems a bit much and something of an insult to a younger generation.
