In this podcast, Boom 97.3 morning man Stu Jefferies talks about his radio journey that started in Winnipeg, included a stay in Burlington, and is currently stopped in one of the city's top rated radio stations.
I love his story of his first job in Saskatchewan The P.D. told him the only reason he was hired was because he'd just fired the person who worked that shift and his tape was the one that just happened to be on his desk at the time.

Great interview. For all his achievements, Stu seems relatively ego-less and rather humble.
Quite a few years back, I remember one radio person's observation that the most talented people in this business seem to have the smallest of egos, whereas the not-quite-so-talented people usually have the biggest of egos, mainly because they feel the need to puff themselves up more. That would probably explain Stu's affable personality, something that really comes through on the air.
Well done, Stu. You make mornings fun and you deserve the success that's come your way.
