680 News has just tweeted that they will be broadcasting the one and only Toronto Maple Leafs exhibition game this Tuesday evening July 28th starting at 8pm. Hockey on the radio. With no fans in the stands.

Years ago there was a hockey saying that a tie game is like kissing your sister. The same could be said about exhibition games. This whole messy complicated hockey in the dog days of summer season needs to go well for financial reasons if nothing else.

At least the Leafs are playing the Habs Tuesday night, a nice bit of traditional continuity in an upside down continually evolving life with Covid world.
