    Drex Leaving Corus

    Just read that Drex is leaving Corus to "pursue other opportunities". His show is a breath of fresh air in overnight radio. In fact it is the best overnight radio I've listened to in years. He and his crew have been a stellar pickup during COVID. Other than him overnight radio is fueled by right wing, fascist radio hosts. Thank goodness for funny 820.

    Sad to hear. He's a SOWNY member and has posted here occasionally. 

    You can hear his announcement in a podcast titled, "See Ya, Bee Ya" around the 25 second mark. He can't say where he's going, only that he's not leaving radio - but that he won't depart until they find a replacement. Which means he could remain on air until at least sometime in August.

    I thought it was good but not great.  However, good was far better than anything else out there.
