I am not sure how the media ignored this.  This story first surfaced about 3 or 4 days ago.  CBC reported on it as did CTV, CP24 and various newspaper sites. TSN and Sportsnet I don't know because I haven't been watching them since there is nothing going on in sports, but I fail to see how they could ignore the story if other media have covered and reported on the story.   

And what exactly is the media supposed to do once it has been reported?  Wall to wall over the top coverage like CNN or FOX News when they latch onto a story?   And wouldn't the Leafs and Austin Matthews have a say in how the information comes out?

Tennis super star Novak Djokovic has also reportedly tested positive along with 3 other players in his Adria Tour exibition tournament. And this is nothing like the Matthews story other than the positive test.
