Syracuse NY HD TV and Radio from June 6
Tropo this morning allowed me to DX HD TV and radio from Syracuse, NY which I compiled into a You Tube video. I tried to avoid copyrights but not sure if the video will remain online.
Video consists Syracuse METV and other sub channels.
The Audio is from Syracuse HD radio station HOT 107.9. At 1:47 you will hear the HD 2 radio sub channel for a few seconds.
The video is blank for a few seconds from 5:30-5:39 The radio signal keeps going from the analog station from Cobourg, Ontario to HOT 107.9 from 6:25 to 7:17.
The audio from 7:48 to end is of the HD2 107.7 from Buffalo NY, The Lake which is more common than the Syracuse stations but still difficult to get because of CKDO.

Neat!
A light tropo last night for me in Central Etobicoke picking up CITY-31 woodstock repeater, CIII Global Paris and TVO on that same tower on UHF 28.

Attn DX fans. The same tropo conditions this morning and I was able to get the Syracuse TV as well as the radio HD again. Also a bunch of Rochester radio in HD and a low power FM station from Brighton and a few stations from Pennsylvania and NY state that are rare. Still going I think and so now would be a good time to scan.

Indeed there was some tropo last night. For the first time, I picked up WBBZ which is VHF and low power here in Etobicoke without VHF elements.
