Bell has announced today that it will use the technology and equipment from Swedish Tech Giant Ericsson Telecommunications for it's 5G cellular network. Rogers had already announced in 2018 that they were opting for Ericsson.
The story has now been updated; and Telus a few hours after Bell's announcement earlier today, are now saying that they will not be using Hauwei for their next generation 5G networks. In February Telus had indicated that they were planning to partner with Huawei. Bell and Telus will use both Ericsson and Nokia for their 5G networks.
