This is a poor, feeble attempt by the remnants of CBS radio to present a tribute to 100 years of radio. The present state of American commercial radio with commercials interrupted by bits and bytes of information does not lend itself to producing any type of meaningful documentary style programming. In years gone by, both CBS and NBC radio
networks have produced special programming to mark the 25th and 50th anniversaries of both networks. Nowadays
I would expect and hope that perhaps Canadian, U.S. or British public radio would have the means, creative people and desire to produce such a tribute to radio.
