I'm just the opposite.
No more than two minutes in and I was reminded (not that I had forgotten) why the Jeff Blair era is abysmal compared to Bob's time at the microphone. I actually tuned in to 590 after listening to the piece and while I still like Deitsch and Brunt; Blair is a too high price to pay.

I liked it but I'd rather see him interview someone for 5 minutes. Watching Joe Fan asking about Toronto sports teams is going to get boring quickly. All they ever ask is which free agent is coming to the Leafs or Raptors and his answer is always, "I don't know who they'll get but what they need is"

Could not agree more.
As one who has followed him since the '70s, I have never enjoyed the "call-in" segments here (or to be honest on most sports shows).
While guilty at times of "going through the motions" all too often in his final years; there was/is no one better when truly engaged with a guest and/or issue.
