Let's Hear It For Retired Nurses!

Here is a story that hasn't been getting much play but is so important and heart warming. Across Canada thousands of retired nurses and physicians are offering to help stretched front line healthcare workers.

In Ontario over 3,000 retired nurses have answered the call to help fight the battle against the COVID-19 Pandemic and in Quebec over 10,000 retired healthcare workers are willing to come back to work. The story from CTV News.

I know two nurses on the front lines.   Wives of my friend's kids.   In their mid 30s, They're "Millennials".    Rock solid, well educated medical professionals.

Re: Let's Hear It For Retired Nurses!

Similar to Canada, it looks like the UK government is asking retired nurses and doctors to come and help the fight against COVID-19.

God Bless and THANK YOU for those who carry the load and provide the care and comfort 24/7 at all times.
