Remember Buffalo's 'Harvey & Corky'? Harvey Turned Out To Be Notorious

Back when I used to listen to Buffalo radio a lot more than I do now, there were always ads for concerts that were being promoted by "Harvey & Corky Productions." Maybe you remember those, too.

I'd long forgotten about that name until I discovered something that I never knew about that company. Turns out the "Harvey" in "Harvey and Corky" was none other than the infamous Harvey Weinstein, the now disgraced Hollywood mogul that brought about the #MeToo movement.

He got his start in the Queen City, but who could ever have imagined in those days how one man - for all the wrong reasons - would change society as we know it.

Harvey Weinstein's Buffalo years: Celebs, pols and a punch in the nose

Although I think the Buffalo-angle gets short shrift for obvious reasons, there's a PBS Frontline on Friday night that details the lengths Weinstein went to to try and silence his accusers.

WNED at 9pm if you're interested.

He got 23 years.

Wonder what Corky thinks of that?
